The classic garlic mayonnaise made of olive oil, egg and lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 4 cloves garlic, crushed very thoroughly
- 1 egg
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 to 2/3 cup olive oil

Directions
- 1. Put the garlic, egg, salt, and lemon juice in a blender.
- 2. Run the blender for a second, and then pour in the oil in a very thin stream, as you would when making mayonnaise.
- 3. Turn off the blender when the sauce is thickened. Your mayonnaise is ready.
