Ingredients
- 1/2 cup moong dal

- 12/ teaspoons turmeric powder

- 3 cups chopped amaranthus

- Salt to taste

- Masala to grind (to paste):
- 3 tablespoons coconut gratings

- 3 green chillies

- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds

- For the seasoning:
- 2 teaspoons oil

- 1/2 teaspoon mustards

- 1 teaspoon urad dal

- 1 sprig curry leaf
