Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • 875 ml water
  • 30 grams sugar
  • 1/2 lemon (thinly peeled rind)
  • A few drops lemon juice

Directions

  1. 1. Wipe apples with damp cloth.
  2. 2. Slice thinly without peeling or coring.
  3. 3. Put into a jug with lemon rind and sugar.
  4. 4. Pour boiling water over. Cover jug to trap steam and let it stand till cold.
