Apple Sauce

An easy to make apple sauce that can be used as a sandwich filling. Really yummy.
 

Ingredients

  • 500 grams apples
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 cloves
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Directions

  1. 1. Wash, peel the skin of the apples and cut into small pieces.
  2. 2. Heat the butter, add apple slices, sugar, cloves, lemon juice and half cup water. Simmer and cook till soft.
  3. 3. When cooled remove the cloves and blend the remaining in a mixer grinder till smooth
  4. 4. Use this as a sandwich filling.
