    Arepas are the “daily bread” of the people of Venezuela. Each region has its own specialties; some even sweeten them with "papelón" (unrefined brown loaf sugar) and spice them with aniseed.

Whether Colombian or Venezuelan this is a recipe that I wanted to make since sometime. I used queso fresco cheese instead of the recommended mozzarella and this stuff is pretty enjoyable.
