Ingredients
- 225g/8 ounces green beans

- 1.2 litres/2 pints/5 cups lightly salted water

- 1 garlic clove, roughly chopped

- 2 macadamia nuts or 4 almonds, finely chopped

- 1 cm/ 1/2 in cube shrimp paste

- 10-15 ml/2-3 teaspoon coriander seeds dry fried

- 30 ml/2 tablespoon vegetable oil

- 1 onion, finely sliced

- 400 ml/14fluid ounces can coconut milk

- 2 bay leaves

- 225 g/8 ounces/4 cups beansprouts

- 8 thin lemon wedges

- 30ml/2 tablespoon lemon juice

- Salt and ground black pepper
