Here's a delectable twist on a vinegar and oil dressing that is sure to be a hit at your next dinner party. Or, just fix it for yourself and have a private party.
 

Ingredients

  • 2 sprigs fresh basil
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika

Directions

  1. 1. Using a blender or food processor combine the basil, garlic and 1/4 cup of the olive oil with enough pulse chops to puree the basil.
  2. 2. Add the rest of the oil, balsamic vinegar, mustard and paprika; pulse chop half a dozen times to mix.
  3. 3. Pour the dressing into a closable container and store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
