- 3 tablespoons red curry paste

- 3 tablespoons fish sauce

- 2 tablespoons brown sugar

- 2 lemon stalks, bruised

- 450 grams steak, cut into strips

- 3/4 cup roasted peanuts, ground

- 2 red chillies, deseeded and sliced

- 5 lime leaves, torn

- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

- 10 basil leaves, to garnish

- 2 salted ducks eggs, to garnish
