The recipe was named after Betsy Griscom Ross who made the first national flag of the USA in 1776. A cocktail made of brandy and port.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 ounce (3 tablespoon) brandy
  • 1 1/2 ounce (3 tablespoon) port
  • 1 dash cointreau or triple sec
  • 1 dash angostura bitters (optional)
