Bisquick is a pre-mixed baking product consisting of flour, shortening, salt, and baking powder.
 

Ingredients

  • 9 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup double-acting baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 cup shortening; like crisco

Directions

  1. 1. Sift baking powder, salt, cream of tarter, sugar with flour 3 times. Cut in shortening until mix is consistency of cornmeal store in covered containers and store at room temp.
