Ingredients
- 1/2 cup black masoor dhal

- 1/4 cup finely cut onions

- 2 flakes garlic (crushed)

- Little asafoetida

- 1 teaspoon. oil

- 1/4 teaspoon mustard seeds

- 1 1/2 teaspoons black pepper powder

- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds

- Curry leaves few

- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder

- 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder

- Salt as required

- Little garam masala powder
