Ingredients
- 1/3 cup/60 g raisins

- 2 tablespoons brandy

- 1 1/2 cups/225 g all-purpose/plain flour

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg

- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

- 1/8 teaspoon salt

- 3/4 cup/180 g butter, softened

- 2/3 cup/140 g granulated sugar

- 1/4 cup/50 g firmly packed dark brown sugar

- 4 tablespoons milk

- Grated zest of 1 orange
