Ingredients
- 100 g/4 ounces/1 cup plain (semi-sweet) chocolate, chopped
- 150 ml/ 1/4 pint / 2/3 cup strong black coffee
- 600 ml/1 pint /2 1/2 cups milk

Directions
- 1. Put the chocolate and coffee in a saucepan and cook over a moderate heat, stirring all the time until the chocolate melts.
- 2. Whisk in the milk with a balloon whisk and continue to heat, whisking all the time until almost boiling and frothy.
- 3. Pour into mugs and serve.
