- 8 medium potatoes
- 1 head cabbage
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Salt, pepper
- 1/2 cup cream

- 1. Cook potatoes and cabbage separately in boiling salted water until tender.
- 2. Drain and mash together with butter, salt and pepper.
- 3. If mixture is too dry, add cream.
