- 2 cups vegetable stock

- 3 tablespoon butter

- 3/4 cup onion (finely chopped)

- 3 cups carrots (scraped and grated)

- 1/2 cup raw rice (wash well and keep)

- Salt to taste

- 2 teaspoon pepper

- 1/2 cup fresh cream
