Here's an oyster chowder that is quick and easy to assemble. When you chop, slice and dice the vegetables be sure to leave them in large chunks so the flavors remain full and individual.
Ingredients
- 1 pint oysters

- 1/4 cup butter

- 1 quart milk

- 1/2 cup onion, chopped and sauteed

- 1/2 cup celery, sliced and sauteed

- 1 can undrained whole kernel corn

- 1 cup potatoes, diced and cooked

- Salt and pepper to taste

- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
