Traditional Dhal made out of lentil, eaten all over India.
Goes well with rice or rotis. This is my hubby's favorite dish.
Ingredients
- 1 cup lentil

- 2 cup water

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric

- 4 tablespoon oil

- Seasoning:
- 2 tomato, chopped

- 1 onion, chopped

- 1 tablespoon garlic paste

- 1 tablespoon mustard seeds

- 1 teaspoon cumin seed

- 3 green silted

- 2 red dried chili

- 1 tablespoon cumin powder

- 1/4 teaspoon pepper powder

- Salt as per taste

- 1 teaspoon tamarind pulp

- Curry leaves

- Coriander leaves for decoration
