A quick and easy appetizer or add hamburger and/or other ingredients to make a meal.

Ingredients

• 6 cups tortilla chips
• 1 - 15 ounce can black beans or pinto beans, rinsed and drained
• 1/4 cup thick and chunky salsa
• 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
• For cilantro cream:
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 2 tablespoons cilantro or parsley, chopped

Directions

1. 1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F,
2. 2. Spread tortilla chips on an 11 or 12 inch ovenproof platter or baking sheet; set aside.
3. 3. Combine beans and salsa; spoon over chips. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 5 to 7 minutes or until cheese melts.
4. 4. Top with a liberal dollop of cilantro cream and serve.
5. 5. To make cilantro cream: In a small bowl stir together sour cream and cilantro or parsley.
