This variation on pheasant jubilee has been handed down numerous times. It was originally published many years ago in a book titled, "Favorite Recipes of California Winemakers."
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter

- 4 pheasants, quartered

- Flour for dredging

- 1 onion, chopped

- 1/2 cup golden raisins

- 1 cup chili sauce

- 1/2 cup water

- 1/2 cup brown sugar

- 2 tablespoons worchestershire sauce

- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

- 1 cup sherry

- 1 can (16 ounces) pitted dark sweet cherries, drained
