For the holidays or any time for a party, this popcorn ball recipe is fun and easy to make.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup white corn syrup
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • Food coloring (optional)
  • 3 quarts popped corn

Directions

  1. 1. Put sugar, syrup, water, butter and salt in a saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved.
  2. 2. Continue cooking without stirring until it reaches 250 degrees F. Add vanilla and food coloring (optional), stir only enough to mix.
  3. 3. Pour over corn and mix well. Form into balls.
