- 1 pound ripe tomatoes, preferably plum, cored, seeded, and chopped

- 2 garlic cloves, minced

- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried

- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice, or to taste

- 1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
