If you like pasta salads with a lot of tastes and textures then this potluck pasta salad is the one for you.
Ingredients
- 4 ounces wagon wheel macaroni

- 4 ounces tricolored rotini

- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper

- 1 red bell pepper, cut into strips

- 2 cups summer squash and/or zucchini, halved lengthwise and sliced

- 1 1/2 cups frozen peas, blanched and cooled

- 1 can (6 ounces) chopped ripe olives, drained

- 1 cup smoked cheddar cheese, cubed

- 1 cup unblanched whole almonds, toasted

- 4 green onions, sliced or chopped

- 2 tablespoons fresh tarragon, oregano, basil or dill (or the dried equivalent)

- Regular or nonfat italian salad dressing
