These yummy cinnamon cookies are enriched with real butter and egg yolks.
 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 4 egg yolks, well beaten
  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions

  1. 1. Cream the butter and sugar, add vanilla.
  2. 2. Sift together the flour, salt, baking powder and cinnamon; add to the creamed mixture alternately with the beaten eggs. Wrap in plastic wrap (or waxed paper) and chill for at least one hour.
  3. 3. Drop from teaspoon and flatten with a fork. Bake at 425 degrees F for seven minutes.
