1. 1. Take the cream cheese out of the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature to soften, or heat for a very short time in the microwave.
2. 2. Assemble a stack with alternating layers of salami and cream cheese. The stack should begin and end with a slice of salami using seven slices for the stack.
3. 3. Repeat to make a second stack.
4. 4. Wrap each stack in plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
5. 5. Cut each stack into eight small wedges. Place them on a serving platter on their edge, showing the striped layers.
