- 3 cups large firm strawberries
- 3 cups sugar

Directions
- 1. Wash strawberries carefully, hull and measure.
- 2. Crush the berries in a large kettle. Heat slowly to boiling, stirring constantly.
- 3. Add sugar and continue cooking rapidly until mixture gives sheeting test for jelly or spoon leaves a mark across the center of pan.
- 4. Pour into sterile glasses and seal.
