A delicious South Indian delicacy that can be eaten with rice by itself, or as a side dish with Sambar or Rasam rice.
Ingredients
- 6 inches length vazhaithandu (plantain stem)

- Salt to taste

- For grinding:
- 1/2 cup grated coconut

- 2 green chillies

- Very small pieces ginger

- A pinch of mustard seeds

- For seasoning:
- 1 teaspoon oil

- 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds

- 1 sprig curry leaves
