An excellent topper for fruit salad or bread pudding, this whipped cream dressing recipe has many other applications as well.
 

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons salad oil
  • 3 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 4 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup whipped cream

Directions

  1. 1. Combine sugar and flour in top of double boiler; add remaining ingredients except whipped cream and cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
  2. 2. When the mixture has cooled, fold in the whipped cream.
  3. 3. For a ginger variation, add three teaspoons chopped crystallized ginger.
